Students work on Reading and Writing the Time in Maths!

This week our key stage 1 have been revisiting topics during their Maths lesson.

They enjoyed creating their own individual analogue clocks which has also added to an extra resource for them to use and practice telling the time at home.

The main focus was to be able to read and write o’clock, quarter past, half past and quarter to.

Pupils then moved on to a worksheet which asked them to draw the hands on the clocks to show the written time.

This activity was a fun way to help children learn these vital skills and with hands-on practice, students strengthen their understanding of how clocks work.
