Linking Verbs Online!
Ages 12-14 home-schooled students have been learning about linking verbs during English.
A linking verb connects the subject of a sentence to a noun or an adjective that names or describes the subject. They do not show any action; they simply link the subject with the rest of the sentence. Learners came up with their new snacks and wrote sentences and phrases containing linking verbs.
