Great Fun at Chester Zoo!

Our home schooled students, parents and tutors had a great day out at Chester Zoo on Wednesday alhamdulillaah. Chester Zoo is the UK’s number one wildlife attraction, as well as being one of the world’s top zoos with 20,000 animals and 125 acres of zoological gardens.

Our end of academic year trip was well deserved by our students for their hard work and effort throughout the year.

Students had fun exploring the zoo and witnessing an array of animals. They took an exhilarating journey back to the Jurassic age, with a walk amongst the zoos collection of dinosaurs; even getting sprayed with water by some of them.

Another highlight for our students was the fruit bat forest, were they entered the dark enclosure and came up close and personal with one of the world’s most captivating animals.

Each group followed their own trail around the zoo, but we all reunited for our lunch on one of the many picnic lawns located around the zoo and enjoyed ice cream and slush in the very hot weather.

Our students ended the day with a visit to the Chester Zoo gift shop, before heading back to the coach.

Alhamdulillaah it was an enjoyable day and all attendees had a brilliant time. In shaa Allaah we hope to organise  more trips like this in the future.
