End of Summer Term!
Alhamdulillaah on Thursday afternoon we came to the end of the summer term at the Tuition Club and to celebrate the achievements of our students, we held an end of term ceremony, a parents afternoon and our students ran a tuck shop and sold homemade smoothies and cakes.
During the ceremony our students read out some excellent poetry, which they worked hard to prepare in their Arabic lessons. We were all impressed by the students poems, and the confidence they showed in reading them out to an audience of parents and tutors.
Students were then rewarded for achieving a 100% mark in all subjects on the Tuition Club behaviour and effort charts, and were presented with certificates and gifts.
After the ceremony we held a parents afternoon, which gave parents the opportunity to speak to the tutors regarding their child’s progress.
Also, during the afternoon our students ran their own tuck shop, smoothie and cake stalls. Students had been preparing for their stalls in their maths lessons, as part of a business maths project. They made beautiful cakes and tasty smoothies maa shaa Allaah. The project enabled students to understand key business concepts such as profit and loss and marketing.
Alhamdulillaah a lovely afternoon was had by all.
We would like to thank all parents for their continued support, and tutors and students for all their hard work and effort.
We hope you all have a nice summer break, and we look forward to our students returning on Monday 19th September 2016 in shaa Allaah.
